Taeyun Kim (she/her) is a performer, choreographer, and writer based in London. She got her BA in Dance from Sookmyung Women’s University in Seoul and MA in Performance Making from Goldsmiths.
In 2025, Taeyun performed at The Royal Academy of Arts, "La Valse de Dessin", collaborating with a visual artist Charlotte Gérard. In 2024, Taeyun presented her short films "surplus" and "the state" at Fox Yard Studio, Ipswich. She was one of the finalists at Clapham International Film Festival in 2023 with her short film “the state”.
In 2023, Taeyun performed at VAULT Festival with her show "MOLKA", featured on Stagedoor as Lyn Gardner’s VAULT Festival 2023 Picks, also critically acclaimed by Broadway World and The Feminist Library. In 2022, Taeyun performed at Thames Festival with her show "Choreographies of Care", funded by ACE.
Taeyun had her Edinburgh Fringe debut in 2026, with her show "He's Six Years Older Than Me", received 4 star review. The project is to be continued.
